About me

Born in Baltimore, and raised in San Diego, I like to think that I’m a combination of East Coast wit and West Coast chill.

A naturally animated, energetic (and maybe slightly dramatic child) storytelling was my natural refuge. It started at 6 with my feet when my parents put me in Bharatanatyam.

Then it became my keyboard (sorry I’m a young millennial who skipped pens) when I won an honorary medal for the 6th-grade writing competition-themed “Reflections” when I wrote about how my room was my favorite place.

Then it became my throat which told scripted stories and sang everything from Hindi songs to Italian arias to musical theatre ballads.

The English language took me to SDSU where I contributed to The Daily Aztec, then to Cornell University where I wrote for the Cornell Daily Sun to a college internship at Entity Magazine—now a women’s media company with a readership of 1 million a month, writing for The Huffington Post, to winning a writing competition for Vocal Media’s “Better Days” Challenge

I’m excited to see where this passion takes me, and how many different colors of humanity I get to wear onstage, on camera, or write with the tip of my pen.

What the heck is so great about me?

What the heck is so great about me?

Nothing really. (kidding), but I guess if I were to differentiate myself, I’d say that I offer a unique perspective as both a South Asian/Indian American and as an Actor and performer. I bring sensitivity and color to my approach to Copy and Marketing Strategy , and I always keep in mind how it will be perceived by different groups of individuals based on their cultural experiences.
